Registered Nurse - in private practice specializing in PTSD healing and creative problem solving for personal peace, vitality and the joy of being alive.
I have been a M’EarthTone for many years and I love the harmonies we make together - our group of feisty, quirky and zany folks, sharing the love of music. I want to thank Kris for hanging in with us all of these many, creative musical years through thick and thin.

Day job: Scribe – a noble profession. I work as a stenographic court reporter in and around San Francisco. 35+ years in the business has filled my brain with a lot of weird and mostly useless factoids, none of which is likely to land me on Jeopardy!
I have been a M’Earthtone since our inception. I am a happy singer. Delight comes to me from wonderful rhythms and luscious harmonies. Every now and again I cross over to the dark side and pretend I’m a soprano.

Retired, and love gardening lots and fixing things. Former Project manager, Computer repair, Maintenance Mechanic, Carpenter, you name it!!
I was one of the first M'EarthTones. I've loved every minute of my time with this group as it has evolved over the years. I really enjoy the wide variety of songs that we sing. It makes me grow! We are like family and have a blast making music, and hanging out.

I became a M’Earthling several years ago and love everything about this kooky, eclectic, funny, accomplished group. I’m a music theory nerd and like to figure out the keys, modes and chordal structure of the pieces we sing. I also play a little bass and fiddle. I used to be a software engineer but stayed home to raise children and watch my technical skills go the way of the dodo. Reinvention was in order, so now I’m a freelance bookkeeper. Thanks to Kris for keeping us together through many challenges, and always reminding us to stay M’earthy.

Fired by my 4th grade piano teacher for never practicing, i picked up pen, pencil and clay and changed my focus to the visual arts. Many years later, when I was working as an art teacher and graphic designer at the Community School of Music and Arts, I started taking guitar lessons. From there I expanded my music making to include banjo, songwriting and singing. Now i find nothing more inspiring than playing music with friends and sharing the joy of singing with my fellow M’EarthTones.

My work in the world is to sing the high notes and get people moving. I’m one of the originals, having sung with Freyda Epstein umpty-ump years ago.
I teach yoga and folk dance and sing with the M’EarthTones, Threshold Choir, church choirs and any group needing high notes. I love making music and playing with our M’Earthy folk.
I have been teaching yoga on Zoom and recording vocal tracks for various churches for their online services. I am looking forward to singing in person again. There is nothing like creating harmony TOGETHER.
